Islam4UK verboden verklaard

Met ingang van donderdag 14 januari is de extremistische organisatie Islam4UK verboden, op grond van Britse antiterrorismewetgeving. Het voornemen om te demonstreren bij een herdenking van in Afghanistan gesneuvelde Britse militairen was voor Downingstreet 10 de bekende druppel. In zijn laatste verklaring, op de website van Islam4UK, breekt de radicale moslimleider Anjem Choudary nog eens een lans voor invoering van de superieure goddelijke wetten van de sharia in Groot-Brittannië. "Het is immers de goddelijke plicht van moslims daarvoor te pleiten (...) in hun gastland, net zo lang tot de sharia wordt toegepast".

Enkele citaten uit het proza van Choudary, een lofzang op de islam en op een vorm van de sharia zoals die momenteel wordt toegepast in de theocratieën Iran en Saoedi-Arabië en in delen van Indonesië:

"(...) We have always stated that there is only freedom under man made law as long as you agree with those who hold power, otherwise it very quickly turns into dictatorship, Gordon Brown and his Secretary have this week been the perfect example of this. Unlike man made law, under the divine law of Islam we do not give you a right today only to take it away tomorrow, rather divine laws are inalienable and good for all times and places and thus superior.

As for the proscription of Al-Muhajiroun and Islam4uk, which we understand that the parliament will be considering this week, I would like to make it clear that we never called for Islam because either Blair or Brown liked it or allowed it but rather because it is a divine obligation upon Muslims to collectively call for Islam and to invite the societies in which they live to adopt Islamic law and order as a way of life, which cannot and will never stop. Hence even if proscribed another platform with a new name will arise to continue to fulfil these divine obligations until the Shari.ah has been implemented.

Indeed much of Europe including Spain, Crete, Rhodes, Cyprus and much of Switzerland were once governed by this perfect and beautiful way of life where Jews, Christians and Muslims lived side by side with their belief, life, honour, wealth and mind protected and the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter provided for all citizens, rich and poor as a divine right not a favour (...)."

Regelmatige bezoekers van www.grootinquisiteur.nl herinneren zich deze Anjem Choudary mogelijk nog van het bericht Ondertussen bij de buren van maart 2009, of anders wel van deze videocolumn van Pat Condell over deze "islamistische idioot".
